Keycare Cover

Notice to Existing KeyCare Policy Holders:
Applicable to Platinum AA Membership customers who have signed up for KeyCare on or before 1st December 2020.
What is changing?
To make things easy for our customers, The AA have always automatically renewed your free KeyCare benefit each year with our KeyCare provider as long as your AA Platinum Membership remained live. Unfortunately, from December 1st The AA can no longer offer KeyCare to customers whose policy is due for renewal.
Who will be impacted by this change?
All customers who have signed up for KeyCare cover as part of your Platinum AA Membership on or before December 1st. Your KeyCare policy will expire at your next KeyCare renewal (a communication will be sent to you with this date).
What will this mean to me?
This will mean that if you lose your keys or your keys are stolen, you will no longer be covered to claim for replacement keys from the date your KeyCare policy lapses.
What do I need to do?
You do not need to do anything; your policy will be automatically lapsed.
Will this impact my AA Membership?
No, your AA Membership cover remains unchaged and this will not affect your AA Platinum Membership status.
Will this impact any of my other AA Products?
No, there is no change to any of the other AA Products or what they cover.

We want to make sure you are covered no matter where you travel or whether it’s in your own car or a rented car. So, we are offering all Platinum Members roadside assistance cover in mainland Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa.
Mainland Europe:
- Get 4 days free breakdown cover per trip
- With a maximum of 3 trips allowed per annum
- And entitling you to 1 call out of roadside assistance, in the event of a breakdown, per trip
If you wish to upgrade this cover to Full European Breakdown Cover we will also give you an exclusive €40 discount.
