AA Roadside Rescue during Covid-19
The AA is continuing to deliver the same essential services you rely on during this extremely difficult time. We want to assure you that we’re here for you and we’ll do everything we can to help you.
Our main priority is the health and safety of our team and our Members. We’ve introduced a number of safety measures, so that we can be here for you, whenever you need us.
Personal Protection Equipment - All our patrols have been provided with additional Personal Protective Equipment supplies. These include face shields, hand sanitiser, protective gloves and sanitising wipes.
Gloves – Gloves are carefully disposed of after each use.
Sanitising Wipes – Sanitising wipes are used to wipe down your car’s surfaces to minimise the risk of contamination.
Badge - AA Patrols wear a ‘Keep a safe distance’ badge to remind members to stay at least 2 metres away while their vehicle is being attended to.
Questions – Our Rescue Team ask AA Members a few brief questions relating to contact with a confirmed or potential COVID-19 case. With this information, a patrol can advise the member to leave the keys of the vehicle in a safe location, avoiding contact. The keys can then be left at the same location and the patrol can advise the member by phone.
